Companies interested in bidding for the revamp of the building’s consular section will have to collect documents in person from the Embassy in SW7 and lodge a non-refundable fee of £50 to enter the race.
Contractors have until February 14 to register their interest and the winning company will have to pay for tender adverts already placed in local newspapers.
The advert states: “All tender documents with instructions can be collected from the Embassy at 4 Elvaston place, London SW7 5QH, against non-refundable fees of £50.
“The cost of this advertisement shall be bared by the contractor.”
