The Royal Hospital Chelsea is looking for a firm to undertake the complete remodelling of the Grade I listed Long Wards and pavilion buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren to provide en-suite facilities for the 190 pensioners.
The main works will be undertaken over three phases and may also involve providing temporary accomodation for the period of the programme within the Royal Hospital Chelsea for approximately 50 pensioners.
The hospital will draw-up a shortlist of between five and eight contractors and firms have until April 1 to register their interest with Northcroft Project Management at [email protected]
