The planned Hub development for creative industries is the first stage of a £75m investment programme across Redcar during the next three years.
Companies across Teesside can discover what work is up for grabs during an event on Thursday March 17 which will highlight opportunities on the Hub development.
The event is being organised by Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council and main contractor Surgo Construction and will reveal the timescale for the scheme.
Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Councillor Mark Hannon said: “The Council are committed to making use of local businesses and suppliers wherever possible so the whole area can benefit from work taking place
“We need to ensure local companies can benefit from this investment and events like this put them in a strong position to bid for valuable work.”
Companies interested in attending should ring 01642 444225 or email [email protected]
The Hub will be built at the site of the derelict Palace Theatre on the Esplanade and is part of the seafront improvement scheme designed to breathe new life into the town.
