The tie-up is a critical part of a national push to insulate Britain’s homes for free under the Government’s special energy saving schemes.
For a limited period all British gas homes owners will be able to use the Government’s Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) and the Carbon Emission Reduction Target (CERT) to insulate homes at no extra up-front cost.
Hans Schreuder, managing director, Rockwool UK, said: “Rockwool has worked with British Gas over the last three years to assist them with providing a range of insulation solutions to their customers via third party distributors and installers.
“This new venture with British Gas will mean that the consumer will receive energy efficiency solutions quicker and more efficiently with British Gas providing a one stop shop.”
