Carden will be based in Sisk’s Solihull office in his new role as Director of Regional Businesses.

Carden has over 25 years experience in the construction industry, developed from a site management background through contracts management to director.

For the past nine years he has run contracting businesses regionally and nationally, most recently as managing director of construction at Rok.

Carden said: “Sisk is strong on investing in long term client relationships, which is testament to its culture of integrity and family ownership of the business.

“I am excited about an appointment to an organisation with such emphasis on client focus and I will continue to reinforce this as we build on Sisk’s recent contract successes.”

His appointment will allow Chris Dyer, the current director of regional businesses, to take up a new role with responsibility for pre-contract activity at main board level, with reporting lines across the business for Sisk’s marketing, business development and tendering processes.
