Crest Nicholson, ISG and Allenbuild were the biggest winners after seeing nearly £7m knocked off their fines.
Crest Nicholson and ISG submitted a joint appeal because the ISG Pearce division fined was owned by Crest at the time of the investigation.

Robert Woodhead Limited – reduced from £411,595 to £151,725
J H Hallam – reduced from £359,588 to £99,000
GAJ Construction – reduced from £109,683 to £42,750
Today’s decision means only three firms are still waiting on a decision over their appeals – North Midland Construction, AH Willis and Sons and GMI Construction.
