A note was pinned to the contractor’s head office door last week advising staff to get in touch with administrators BDO to discuss unpaid wages.

The Courier said FMS and its sister company FMS Developments were now in the hands of BDO’s Glasgow office.

Up to 20 staff are believed to have been hit by the failure.

The notice stated: “All staff should contact the administrators as wages will be dealt with as claims under the Employment Rights Act.”
