Betting Spy: Money back if Barcelona beat Man Utd

Saturday’s Champions League final at Wembley is a mouth-watering prospect for all football fans.

And Betting Spy sponsor Paddy Power has made things even tastier with a fantastic money back offer if Barcelona win the match in 90 minutes.

The firm will refund all losing correct score, first goalscorer and scorecast bets if Pep Guardiola’s boys win in normal time.

That’s a great offer and effectively gives us a few free punts if you fancy Barcelona to triumph. You can sign-up for the deal via the link below.

Betting Spy followers should already be on Messi and co at 5/2 to lift the trophy and they are a best price evens to win in 90 minutes.

It’s a fascinating match but I can’t see beyond a Barcelona victory so let’s chance our arm with a few players to score first – safe in the knowledge that we’ll get out cash back if the bets go down but Barca win.

Lionel Messi is the obvious call so let’s have a go at 4/1 and I also fancy Iniesta at 11/1.

For a longer shot I like the look of Gerard Pique at 25/1 – he’s dangerous at set pieces and has a point to prove to Alex Ferguson.

The final brings the curtain down on another season and we are left in limbo this summer with no major championships to interrupt our beach drinking.

I wonder whether Jack Wilshere will pull-out of the 2012 European Championships due to tiredness?

It’s really depressing that he won’t be at the U21 tournament which offers a great chance to gain experience of how to win a knock-out trophy.

But Arsene Wenger has had his way with the old burn-out excuse.

That’s a weird one considering Arsenal only made it as far as the final in one competition.

And from what I’ve seen lately the team broke up for summer a month ahead of the rest of the league.

I’ve almost gone a whole column without mentioning my beloved West Ham.

Almost. I was trying to forget the calamity of this season when up popped our vice-chairman Karren Brady on The Apprentice.

Now our Karren was scathing about a contestant who pretended in the boardroom that she’d noticed mistakes being made during the task and warned those around her.

Not so, said Karren, who accused her of keeping quiet while the cock-ups carried on.

Now my mind couldn’t help wandering back to one rather large mistake the West Ham hierarchy made and kept ignoring despite the plaintive cries of 35,000 fans every week.

Perhaps my old mate Avram Grant could get a role on The Apprentice? Lord Sugar rarely smiles but with Avram alongside him he’d look like the Cheshire Cat.

Enough worrying about Avram’s new career. A nice freebie has popped into my inbox so it’s time to share the love.

Speedy is the new sponsor of dart’s FA Cup – the UK Open at Bolton’s Reebok stadium from June 2 to 5.

The hire giant has got five pairs of free tickets for every session to enjoy Taylor, Wade and Anderson perform in the flesh.

To get your hands on the tickets just email [email protected] and the first five to hit the inbox with the subject line “darts competition” will be in for an orgy of arrows.

Now let’s look forward again to the final and I expect to see Barcelona pick up the cup and hopefully make us a nice bonus if the right player scores first.

And if Man Utd win?

Well, we’ll just have to take our hat off to Sir Alex for what will be the greatest achievement in his glittering career.

Even Ryan Giggs won’t mind making the papers for that one.
