BAM is looking to expand in the region following the success of a string of projects for Glan Clwyd Hospital.
The ‘Building with BAM’, event will take place on on July 28 at Llandrillo College in Colwyn Bay.
Subcontractors and suppliers will hear about BAM’s plans in a seminar before the contractor offers pre-booked one-to-one sessions with potential new partners.
Rob Bailey, BAM’s project manager for the Glan Clwyd projects, said: “We are targeting a number of schemes in North Wales especially in health and education.
“We are keen to expand our supply chain in the region to see if we can unearth the best partners for our business to help us deliver for our clients.
“We are looking for all services especially Mechanical and Electrical, cladding, joinery and decorating. The seminar represents a big commitment to the North Wales area.”
Over 600 local people were employed on the Glan Clwyd projects for the Hospital which generated over £4m in local orders.
Bailey said: “This is a big opportunity for small and medium enterprises to show us what they can do and to become supply chain partners to BAM. We’re keen to hear from them.”
Interested trade contractors should email Janette Hynes on [email protected] or phone 0800 083 0877 to register their interest or book a one to one session.
