The contractor once turned over more than £250m and employed hundreds of staff but at the end only 70 people were working at the Cork based firm.
Operations at Bowen’s Twickenham based UK division were suspended in May when the 29 staff were told not to report for work anymore.
The UK division worked mainly on mid-sized contracts in London and south-east England.
The management team was headed by ex-Mowlem men CK Patel, Ray Cutts and Ian Posnett and the firm specialised in commercial, residential and industrial contracts up to £100m
