Contractors will deliver around 1,000 new homes across east London and Essex over the next five years.

There are nine framework partners for projects costing below £5m, and ten framework partners for works over £5m.

Each contract within the framework will be let after a further mini competition between the contractors.

East Thames Assistant Director, Kevin O’Reilly said: “Developing a framework for our new build works will ensure we have access to proven, quality contractors at a competitive price.

“It will enable us to operate efficiently to deliver 1,000 new homes in the next five years, and drive real value for money.

“The successful partners were chosen after we considered their experience, quality assurance and competitive pricing.

“We’re confident that all partners in the framework will help us deliver quality affordable homes and much-needed training opportunities for local people.”
