ISG Scotland has teamed up with former owner of Tulloch Construction David Sutherland and its former managing director, George Fraser, to form a new business called Tulloch ISG.
The business will chase public and private projects throughout the Highlands and Islands and the north east.
ISG set up a Scottish company last January in the wake of Rok’s collapse when it secured a £24m novated contract to finish a factory for drinks maker Diageo, near Alloa.
Since then ISG Scotland has built up an order haul of some £60m.
ISG Scotland managing director Andy Mallice, who was the managing director of Rok Scotland, said the region offered many opportunities.
Explaining the decision to sign up with Tulloch’s former directors, he said: “They are obviously well-respected in the Highlands and are known to many.
“It is about utilising their knowledge and experience to leverage more opportunities in the Highlands.”
He also hopes his own company’s experience and reputation elsewhere in Scotland will bring new opportunities to the Highlands.
