Around 500,000 workers covered by the Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) agreement should receive agreed increases.
Pay rates have been increased by 1.5% raising minimum rates under the agreement to £7.87 an hour for labourers increasing to £10.46 an hour for a craft worker.
George Guy, Acting General Secretary of Ucatt, said: “It is essential that all workers covered by the CIJC agreement receive what they are entitled to.
“There is no reason for any CIJC construction employer to withhold this increase.
“Ucatt will take strong action to ensure that all our members who are entitled to this pay increase receive it.
“Employers who think they can force construction workers to undertake highly skilled physical work for a pittance will be named and shamed.”
