Steve Rice, Head of DIO’s programme, said: “DIO’s top priority is to support our Armed Forces as they prepare for operations, but value for money must underpin everything we do for the Defence frontline.
“This opportunity has attracted a huge span of businesses of differing sizes and specialisations, and the evaluation of pre-qualification questionnaires has been intensive and thorough.
“As a result of this process I am delighted that we now have ten experienced organisations selected to proceed to the ITT stage for this framework.”
Jon Wooden, DIO’s Frameworks Project Manager, said: “The Strategic Defence and Security Review is driving changes to military basing.
“The Capital Works Frameworks, such as this one for the East Midlands and Eastern England, are likely to be instrumental in this as we work closely with industry to deliver the infrastructure our military personnel need to do their job.”
