The prized four-year framework is estimated to be worth £120m each year and has attracted all the social housing specialists in the industry.
The contractors have all passed the tender stage, where they were assessed 40% against price and 60% against quality, Hyde said.
The quality assessment included an evaluation of environmental sustainability, experience, defects handling and customer care, and employment and training opportunities offered.
Jane Jenkinson, group business development director, said: “Hyde will make the most of the improvement in quality and cost savings from our partnerships with contractors, which gives us a sound platform to deliver our business plan targets for the development of over 1,000 new affordable homes a year over the next four years.”
In recent months Hyde has been reviewing framework agreements for contractors, architects, employer’s agents and construction design and management coordinators.
