Over the next five years, it will see Willmott Dixon work closely with the Trust’s estates team to carry out planned improvements to Airedale General Hospital, near Keighley.
The scope of work ranges from a new endoscopy unit to refurbishing the hospital’s accident and emergency department.
All projects will utilise Willmott Dixon’s unique ‘Insitu Plan’ that ensures patients and staff are not disrupted by the building work.
Working alongside Willmott Dixon will be its ProCure 21+ team, who are Capita Symonds, providing architectural, M&E and structural services, plus Cyril Sweett as cost advisor.
Although not compulsory, ProCure 21+ is now the most popular route for NHS capital projects.
Anthony Dillon, managing director for Willmott Dixon in the North said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded this long-term contract to improve facilities and deliver a hospital that’s fit for the future needs of its local communities.”
