Rentokil in maintenance expansion with MSS deal

Rentokil is expanding in the maintenance market with the £6.5m acquisition of the building services division of Managed Support Services.

The deal will see Rentokil add 200 employees to its M&E and maintenance operations from MSS Facilities Management.

The company has an annual turnover of £22m and operates from two principal trading sites in Manchester and London.

Rentokil’s existing M&E and  building services business operates within the Initial Facilities division.

MSS currently works for a number of blue chip clients including AXA, E.on, Grant Thornton and United Utilities.
