The affordable housing maintenance specialist will deliver planned refurbishment and electrical work across a portfolio of 15,000 homes, managed on behalf of Barnet Council.
Work will start in April.
Barnet Homes was the first housing body to issue a termination of contract notice with Connaught when it first became apparent the firm was in financial trouble.
In the event, Connaught collapsed before the £7m-a-year contract was terminated and Morgan Sindall stepped into buy its work in a £28m deal with administrators that scooped up most contracts nationwide.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said:”This is another important win for Lovell, which builds on the response maintenance work we acquired as part of the acquisition from the administrators of Connaught.
Today’s announcement underlines our leading position in affordable housing.”
