Financial services group Close Brothers will release £9m funding for Mount Anvil to back its £20m scheme in Pear Tree Street, Clerkenwel.
Killian Hurley, Mount Anvil chief executive, said “The support of Close Brothers reflects the reputation and track record of Mount Anvil at a time when many companies are struggling to attract funding.
The investment will fund the development of Pear Tree Street and there may well be opportunities for further investment in the future. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Close Brothers.”
The Pear Tree Street development is next to Mount Anvil’s Central Square and Seward Street schemes and has planning in place for 45 one, two and three bedroom apartments – 28 for private sale and 17 affordable homes being handled by One Housing Group – with 354 sq m of commercial space.
