Headed up by husband and wife team Iain and Ursula Johnson, Capital Plant Solutions was set up last December to specialise in the sales and purchase of used equipment.

Prior to that Iain Johnson held various senior positions and directorships within Benford, Terex, Neuson and latterly as regional sales director for Hire Station, part of the VP PLC Group.

His wife Ursula worked for Benford and Terex for the past sixteen years reaching the position of business development manager, managing both distributors and key accounts.

The company will be responsible for the sales and after market support for the full range of Volvo utility equipment covering the northern Home Counties, north of the Thames including North London, Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

This includes compact excavators from 1.5 to 8.8t, compact wheeled loaders up to 1.0m³ capacity, backhoes and small tandem vibratory rollers.

“Since Capital Plant Solutions was established we have been regularly encouraged by our customer base to expand the business to encompass new machine sales as well as trading in quality used equipment,” said Iain Johnson.
