The WellSpring Group beat rival bids from Laing O’Rourke in joint venture with Hochtief and Robertson Group.
The consortium will deliver public sector building projects such as schools and GP surgeries over the next ten years across Glasgow, Inverclyde, East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire.
Barry White, chief executive of the Scottish Futures Trust, said: “I look forward to the west hubco working with local suppliers and contractors to deliver quality buildings to provide improved public services for communities.”
He said that, across Scotland, the hub programme is already building or developing more than £100m of projects which in turn will support service improvements to local communities, as well as helping to protect construction jobs.
The SFT has selected partners for four of its five hub programmes, with the last south west regional hub deal set to be revealed in August.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc, said: “We are excited by this opportunity to work alongside our public sector partners to deliver vital projects which will generate improved public services for communities in the West of Scotland.”
