New managing director Sohan Panesar is heading the expansion drive after taking over from his father, and company founder, Balbir Panesar who takes on the role of chairman.
PEC currently employs 100 staff and its clients include Magnet, Homebase, Kwik-Fit, Morrisons, Bupa, Q-Park, Jewsons, Aagrah Restaurants and NHS Trusts.
The London office will open before the summer and the new manufacturing plant at Bradford will add £2m extra a year to turnover and complement the existing 35,000 sq ft facility.
Balbir founded PEC in 1977 as an electrical contractor.
He said “As PEC moves into its next phase of growth, Sohan has great enthusiasm, a wealth of experience and a talent for nurturing business that will be great assets to the company going forward.
“I am looking forward to travelling to explore new business opportunities in foreign markets, and to building on the excellent relationships we have with clients around the world.”
