Monaco based chairman Kevin Taylor will head-up the newly formed McLaren Property Services and holding company which will oversee operations globally and in the UK.
The move comes on the back of another year of growth at McLaren which saw turnover and operating profits up 75% as revenue ticked-up to £267m from £153m last time.
Taylor told the Enquirer: “This is a new vehicle to control the existing companies through an international holding structure for which I have day-to-day responsibility.
“We are diversifying the group and taking an ever increasing international angle which has resulted in the restructure.
“It’s been a challenging 12 months for our industry and we are pleased to announce such a strong performance.
“The results are testament to our people and the levels of investment and the application of a focused business plan across our group of companies.
“With the introduction of our new company and management structures we are looking forward to the future.
“This will enable the continuation of our achievements to date whilst maintaining our growth, and protecting our strong reputation for excellent service and delivery that we have proactively built. Our ambitions are to grow and continually improve our business in the forthcoming years”.
The UK construction management team has also been restructured with David Murphy appointed Director responsible for all operations at McLaren’s Brentwood and Birmingham offices covering the Midlands and the South, Rob Kremis Director responsible for all London operations, and Graham Lumberg as Director for McLaren’s Northern operations, all of whom report to Phil Pringle, Managing Director, Construction UK & UAE.
Phil Pringle said: “Our significant growth has been controlled strategically through our management infrastructure and as a result we continue to maintain a high level of repeat order business as well as aligning ourselves with new high profile customers”.
