The move comes after 40 jobs were cut this time last year from the firm’s workforce which once stood at 300 and is now nearer 200.
Spokeswoman Tina Holmes told the Lincolnshire Echo: “As part of Simons Group’s annual business planning the company is restructuring in line with its forward workload, which has resulted in 10 roles being made redundant.
“Making redundancies is never an easy decision for any business, particularly in the current climate.
“However the restructure is necessary to further strengthen our unique way of working with our customers.”
There was more positive news for Simons today after the firm was tipped to win a new Sainsbury’s contract in Melton Mowbray
