The council owns the Watts Grove site near Bromley by Bow and is on the hunt for partners to steer the development, demolish existing buildings and construct a mix of affordable homes and commercial units.
Watts Grove site is presently used as a depot for highways maintenance vehicles and council plant.
It is hoping for some contractor finance to help fund the project, which will be built to meet the new code for sustainable homes level 4 and Breeam “Excellent” rating for the commercial premises.
Client adviser Due North is handling the procurement with more details available from click.
The council hopes to make a start on the phased development by August this year.
