The management fee job will see the firm co-ordinate up to 42 fit-out packages at the Scottish Crime Campus at Gartcosh, Lanarkshire.
Work will start in April on the £10m fitout phase, with Balfour Beatty required to advertise packages on the Scottish Procurement Portal to give specialists a chance to win contracts.
Based on Washington DC’s FBI headquarters, the £80m centre is co-designed by BMJ and gm+ad architects and will house 1,100 officers once fully operational in 2013.
The campus will house bodies including the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency, the Serious Organised Crime Agency, the Crown Office and HM Revenue and Customs.
Graham Construction won the £25m main shell and core contract which is nearing completion.
Firms working on the project will be subject to strict security measures.
