Secured through the Fusion 21 public procurement enterprise, the two phase project will see Apollo work on occupied properties in Carlisle over the course of this year, commencing later this month.
Apollo has committed to use all local labour to carry out the specialist aspects of the work, through partnering with a local subcontractor, and has also recruited a local site management team to oversee the delivery of the project.
Apollo’s divisional director, Mike Edwards, said: “We are committed to providing employment opportunities and delivering activities and initiatives for residents in the area.”
