Big firms at the event will include Kier, Balfour Beatty, Robertson and Gentoo.
The day is being organised by the North Tyneside Business Forum on April 17 from 2.00pm to 6.00pm at the Civic Hall, The Green, Wallsend, NE28 7PA.
Trade contractors will be able to talk directly to buyers at the informal event where they can also learn about forthcoming work opportunities across the region.
Publicity for the event states: “Find out how to get on to their supplier lists and frameworks and find out about actual and potential business opportunities.
“There will also be a chance for some individual ‘one to one’ support to help you brush up your tendering skills so you can be in good shape to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.”
