Thomas Vale employs over 700 people and expects to generate a turnover of just over £200m for the financial year to March 2012.
Thomas Vale specialises in new build and refurbishment in the public and private sectors including the retail, office and leisure market
It also has a proven track record in housing and regeneration through its long-term public sector partnerships.
The deal is the latest stage in Bouygues’ UK expansion programme in the UK following the acquisitions of Warings, Leadbitter, Denne and ETDE.
Thomas Vale will be bought via its subsidiary Bouygues Bâtiment International.

The deal is subject to approval by the European Commission competition authorities.
Thomas Vale currently operates from offices in Stourport, Bilston, Birmingham, Hereford, Kidderminster, Pendeford, Pensnett, Sandwell, Stafford, Stoke on Trent and Yardley.
