Dan Witchalls told The Sun about his daredevil exploits and a video of his parachute jumps can be seen here
Witchall’s revelations come just days after urban explorers revealed they had climbed the UK’s tallest building.
He said: “When I heard it was being built, I thought, ‘I must give that a go’.”
Witchall, of Great Canfield, Essex, said he leaped from the Shard in 2010 and 2011. His highest jump was from 850ft. He climbed at night so he could parachute on to roads around the site.
He said: “For the first 50 floors it’s stairs, then they get more steep, then near the top it’s ladders. Every time you turn a corner there could be a security man there.”
