The first wave of approved suppliers on the £300m engineering and professional services framework of the North West Construction Hub has been confirmed.

Manchester City Council, which oversees the regional framework on behalf of public sector partners, has sent confirmation letters to the winning firms.

Bidders have been upset by delays in the awarding process and a number of lots are still to be confirmed.

A spokesman for Manchester City Council told Place North West: “As regards the outstanding lots, we anticipate that notification to all tenderers on the outcome of the tender process will take place over April and May, as the process will be carried out in phases.”
