The firm has applied for planning permission at its Barts Square site in EC1 where a mixed-use scheme worth £460m could be given the green light by the end of this year.
At Mitre Square in EC3 Helical Bar will now press ahead with the demolition of a number of buildings and construction on a new 270,000 sq ft commercial scheme will start once a tenant is secured.
Helical Bar will also submit a planning application in July for a 1.5m sq ft retail-led mixed use scheme at White City in W12.
The firm hopes to gain planning permission by the end of this year and start construction by the end of 2013.

The development pipeline was unveiled as the firm posted a pre-tax profit of £7.4m for the year to March 31 2012 compared to a £6.3m loss last time
