The contractor is holding a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event next week organised by Constructionline.

Subcontractors and suppliers will get the chance to meet with Kier staff from its northern office who are on the look-out for firms within a 30 mile radius of the Winsford site.

The event will be held at Winsford E-Act Academy on Wednesday June 6 and Kier is looking to come away with a local supply chain of contractors.

Becci Marshall, sales manager from Constructionline, said: “It can prove difficult for local contractors to have the opportunity to get involved with projects of this size which is why it’s great to see Kier’s Northern office sourcing local construction workers to help them deliver this project.

“Hosting this event as it is at the heart of what we do – we want to help suppliers find and secure work and we want to make it easier for businesses to find reliable and local construction companies.”

The event is free and suppliers do not have be registered with Constructionline to attend.
