The pre-qualification certification scheme is now using the branding strap-line ‘a UK government certification service’ as 90% of members renew their accreditation every year.
Philip Prince, sales and marketing director at Constructionline, said: “It’s impressive that we’ve maintained such high retention levels during these difficult times but, if anything, our research shows that in a tough market, suppliers still seek accreditation in order to stand out from the competition and improve their working practices.
“Registering with Constructionline means they can gain the accreditation that their buyers look for while saving them time and money. We will continue to work with buyers and suppliers to help improve efficiency in order to get the industry moving.”
The scheme works with buyers and suppliers to promote better buying practices and to remove PQQ duplication in order to save buyers and suppliers time and money.
Emma Waas, marketing manager at Constructionline, said: “Constructionline is embarking on a new brand promise as we continue to evolve – offering buyers and suppliers true accreditation.
“In the past 14 years we have grown from a public sector database to an industry recognised certification scheme and we therefore felt it was time to re-visit our branding to reflect the work we do and the progress we have made.”
“We know from our close relationships with suppliers that they see us as more than just a register. They want us to continue championing their needs, and to continue our commitment to improve efficiencies in pre-qualification, which in turn will save time and money for their business and for buyers.
“We hope suppliers will display the new logo with pride as it reflects to the industry the steps they have taken to gain certification.”
