The first of the ProCure 21+ contracts starts this month and will see the hospital resuscitation area within the Emergency department refurbished over the next five months.

In August, IHP will start the second five-month contract to extend the Emergency department to accommodate an extra 18 beds.

Mark Thomas, regional director of Vinci Construction UK building division North, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been awarded two contracts with the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and we look forward to working alongside the Trust to successfully complete these projects.”
