Keepmoat will deliver construction and regeneration solutions supported by services from Capita, including its Capita Symonds and sector businesses, alongside a host of funders.
The duo aim to maximised local authority land receipts and negotiate the complex array of funding options available to deliver savings.
The partnership will also assist local authorities to deliver an integrated approach to housing and health care through bespoke, high quality housing for older people.
Richard Marchant, housing and local government strategic partnerships director at Capita said: “Finding solutions to the current challenges facing the housing market will be a prime focus for our partnership with Keepmoat.
“The sector is facing real pressure to meet the Government’s objectives with reduced budgets and this will require innovation, which the private sector is well-placed to support.”
Ian Sutcliffe, Chief Executive Officer at Keepmoat said: “The working partnership we have established with Capita is all about providing community focused total housing solutions for local authorities.
“The end result of this will be a faster, and more efficient solution for delivering housing, which will also attract external finance to provide additional homes and jobs for local communities.”
