The deals mean Persimmon is sitting on a consented land bank of 63,800 plots.
In a trading update to the City today, the house builder said it completed 4,712 new homes in the first six months of 2012 – an increase of 6% on last year.
Sales rates are also up 18% as turnover for the first half hit £805m which is a 13% increase on last time.
Persimmon opened 65 new sites in the first half of the year and is looking to start on another 60 before Christmas.
More buyers are using the internet to search for new homes with visitor numbers to both the Persimmon Homes and Charles Church home finder web sites up 50% .
Average selling prices were 7% up at £171,400 while operating margins hit 11.5% from 9%.
