The deal involves Willmott Dixon’s Regen and Capital Projects teams and will use a new off-the-shelf system design developed with Scape Building Systems.
Willmott Dixon will merge sports facilities offered at two existing sites into a new sports and leisure centre at Moberly in Queens Park, north London.
Surplus land released from the deal will be used for residential development allowing Willmott Dixon to recover the cash invested into the sport and leisure centre.
The standardised leisure design concept is being used for the first time by Willmott Dixon to deliver the swimming pool, eight-court sports hall, health and fitness suite, multi-use gymnastics and martial arts area.
The project builds on a string of swimming pool contract wins around the country in the last couple of years.
