Temporary access specialist Eve has invested almost £1m in 70 new tower lights as part of a three year expansion plan at its booming Brightlights division.

Eve is also opening a second depot at its central Bramley Vale site in Chesterfield and is investing a further £150k in new delivery, service and maintenance vehicles.

Neil Fenwick, Brightlights General Manager said: “Since acquiring Brightlights in October 2011 we have been able to extend the service and further improve the excellent reputation in the industry which we are incredibly happy about.

“We decided to make the significant investment in expanding our product and service offering in order to keep up with demand and enable us to effectively compliment the other products within Eve’s portfolio.”

Brightlights products are aready used by a host of contractors including BAM Nuttall, The Volker Group and Balfour Beatty.

Fenwick added: “Two key expansion areas for Brightlights are the rail and highway sectors.

“A number of our key rail customers will be among some of the first utilising our new models as the unit is ideally placed to serve the often restrictive conditions railway works necessitate.”
