Plans are in place to set up a single engineering and construction professional services panel for use by Scotland’s local councils.
Scotland Excel, the procurement body set up by the 23 local councils, plans to start procurement in September of a single point framework covering a host of consultant services.
These will include roads and structures, transportation, environmental engineering, land surveying, drainage and flooding, geotechnical and testing as well as project management, planning and development, CDM-C and legal/contractual support.
