The three-year deal will cover new build, refurbishment and maintenance works with an option to extend for a further year.

The framework will be divided into lots covering contracts from under £500,000 up to the £2.5m-£5m range.

The Trust said it is looking for contractors with “exceptionally strong skills in respect of complex refurbishment in a high tech environment, works in close proximity to active healthcare delivery and congested inner city campuses.”

It added: “The contractors will also need the skills and ambition to work with the Trust to deliver continuous improvement through the duration of the framework.

“The individual projects will largely, but not exclusively, comprise refurbishment and remodelling to upgrade the existing estate.”
