The film has been created by the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Olympic Delivery Authority.
It features interviews with the key ODA directors and engineers involved in the design and construction of the park as well as unique time lapse footage and fly throughs showing the site before construction, right up to its completion.
To date it has been viewed more than 9,000 times.
ICE London Regional Director, Miranda Housden, said: “Millions of people will be tuning in to see the extraordinary sporting talent the Olympic Games offer and following the progress of team GB.
“But it’s great to know that thousands are also keen to learn more about how the Olympic venues and facilities were delivered on time, safely and within budget – including the waste, transport, energy and water infrastructure.
“ICE London has been working with the ODA’s Learning Legacy for three years creating a range of online lectures and information for civil engineers – a project which has been hugely rewarding and which led to the creation of this special film which captures both the challenges and successes of the project and shares the knowledge of those involved.”
