Amey and its single service provider A-Plant invited their supply chains and key customers to the event at Amey’s Stafford Park depot in Telford.
Machines on show included a particular focus on new equipment designed to reduce or eliminate Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS).
Amey site staff were able to try out almost 200 items of plant and equipment – including several innovations new to the market.
Exhibitors included more than 25 of A-Plant’s preferred suppliers, including Hilti, JCB, Zarges, Multihog, TH White, Dantex and Reactec.
Among the guests were key clients including the Highways Agency, Transport for London (TfL) and Sheffield City Council.
Keith Sexton, Group HSEA Director for Amey, said: “This event supports Amey’s health and safety campaign of Target Zero accidents every day; it’s inclusive, promotes collaboration with our supply chain and drives innovation.
“Often, the people with first-hand experience of using equipment are best placed to suggest health and safety innovations – and this event encourages them to do just that.”
