Planning was submitted for the new campus project last month and will entail a 200-seat performing arts theatre, heated swimming pool and sports hall.
Building work is expected to get underway in the first quarter of next year.

Wates Construction is in detailed talks with Dorset county council over its plans to deliver the £15m Portland Aldridge Community Academy.
The academy on the new Southwell Park campus will cater for children between 3 and 19 years, as well as opening up new resources for the wider community.
