The firm in the lastest casualty in a string of collapses to hit the M&E sector, which has seen firms like MJ Coulston, Airedeale M & E, parts of Rotorary and number regional player go to the wall in recent months.
Trinity offered building services throughout the country from main office in Weybridge, with project management staff based in the south east, the midlands and the north.
As a primary M&E package subcontractor it worked for most major contractors over the years.
A source told the Enquirer: “About 28 staff have gone and all the projects have been taken over by main contractors or subcontractors.”
He said: “The firm basically ran into trouble because of the downturn in the economy.”
Contracts secured were primarily in London and the South East, but extended to Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and the New Forest and included office, industrial, schools and care home work.
Debbie Harvey and Paul Boyle of Harrisons Business Recovery have taken over as administrators of the firm.
