Subcontractors wanted across North East

Big-name contractors and clients will be looking for new suppliers across the North East at a Constructionline-organised event next month.

Firm looking for subcontractors will include Vinci, Lend Lease, Kier and Graham Construction.

The event takes place on Thursday 8 November at Durham County Cricket Club in Chester le Street, between 8:30am and 3pm.

Aaron Good, client relationship manager from Constructionline, said: “In our experience, many local businesses want to give work to local contractors and in turn, the contractors are eager to win these tenders.

“The problem is that it’s often hard for contractors and buyers to get face-to-face to discuss opportunities.

“Hosting events like this is at the heart of what Constructionline does – giving suppliers some valuable introductions and helping them to learn about upcoming work opportunities, while also making it easier for businesses to find reliable and local construction companies.

“The event is one of the many benefits for Constructionline member suppliers in helping them find and secure work.”
