Constructionline is holding one of its biggest ever ‘Meet the Buyer’ events in London later this month.

A whole host of major contractors and clients will be looking for suppliers on Thursday November 22 at the Oval Cricket Ground in Kennington.

Small and medium-sized contractors, consultants and materials suppliers will get the chance to meet key procurement decision makers from firms including:
·         Mears Projects
·         Breyer Group
·         South London & Maudsley NHS Trust
·         London Borough of Havering
·         Bouygues
·         VINCI Facilities
·         Amicus Horizon
·         Lend Lease
·         Kier Construction
·         Graham Construction
·         Urbanis
·         Cabinet Office
·         Trading for Good
·         Denne Construction
·         Lovell Partnerships Ltd
·         Bullock Construction
·         Circle Housing
·         South East Consortium

Philip Prince, sales and marketing director at Constructionline, said: “In our experience, both buyers and suppliers find it hard meeting face-to-face to discuss work opportunities, which is why we host these events.

“Establishing relationships between suppliers and clients is at the heart of what we do and the Meet the Buyer events are one of the many benefits for Constructionline member suppliers in helping them find and secure work.”

Kier Construction head of procurement Michael Thomlinson said: “Kier is committed to supporting the local economy in areas in which we work and, as part of this, we are looking forward to meeting many potential new partners at this event.

“By working with both subcontractors and suppliers we are not only able to share our wealth of experience, but also actively encourage the discovery of new ways to approach projects or initiatives, working towards common objectives of economic, social and environmental benefits through sustainable procurement and supporting local companies.”

The event is free and suppliers do not have to be registered with Constructionline to attend.
