Redevelopment of St Clement’s car park in the city will provide 140 student study rooms.
The firm finally secured planning permission for the scheme in September after a series of applications were turned down by Oxford City Council, which owns the car park site it plans to build over.
The earlier scheme sparked months of protests from residents, traders and Oxford University – with objections about the loss of parking and the impact on the conservation area near Magdalen Bridge.
