Around 30 workers were left in limbo when the firm changed its name to Building Hire and Leasing in July before going into administration in August.
The modular construction business is still trading under the Terrapin name from premises in Milton Keynes.
But the former workers claim they have been left in the lurch between their former employer and the administrator leaving them thousands out of pocket.
One worker told the Enquirer: “We are owed a lot of money with many of the claims running to five figures.
“We have tried to negotiate politely with both parties but it is getting us nowhere so an industrial tribunal seems the only course of action.”
Terrapin bosses did not come forward with a comment despite repeated offers to put their side of the story.
