McLaren started in October to clear the site to deliver a 274,000 sq ft mixed-use development at the former Sussex House site in Crawley.
The new development will include a 75,000 sq ft Morrisons superstore, a 110 bed Travelodge and three additional retail units totaling 6,000 sq ft.
Phil Pringle, Managing Director, McLaren Construction Group, said: “To have secured this project through negotiation is testament to the strength of our long-term relationship with Land Securities.
“Scheduled for completion by the end of 2013, this is a significant scheme in the wider regeneration of Crawley.”
McLaren will prioritise local employment and the appointment of local companies for sub-contractor work.
